Today we walk on old railway line converted into cycle track from Braunton up the Taw estuary to cross the river on the Long Bridge in Barnstaple, then back the other side of the river to Instow

From Instow, we catch the Instow to Appledore ferry across the river Torridge

The ferry does not run at low tide. The low tides for 3 July at 9.27am and 21.58. I don't know the time of the last ferry.
