JOGLE Day 80 Minehead to Porlock
Minehead marks the start of the South West Coast Path National Trail, a 630 mile route from Minehead to Poole, Britain's currently longest National Trail, which we'll follow as far as Land's End. We also enter our 5th and last National Park, Exmoor National Park (the others were Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. Northumberland, Yorkshire Dales and the Peak District)
The path at first starts at low level, but then begins a zig zag climb. There is a junction of 2 options, I intend taking the higher path contouring below Selworthy Beacon. The 2 paths merge before descending Hurlstone Combe to Hurlstone Point
The path proceeds to Bossington at a low level. Further on we leave the Coast Path at Sparkhayes Lane which takes us up to Porlock.
