Today is our 1st day on the Heart of England Way.

Setting out on the A51, it is not long before we set off on field paths. We cross the A5, climb Gorsey Hill, cross the A453, through the village of Drayton Bassett and along towpath of the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal.

The HofE Way goes under the M42 and on to Kingsbury. After going under the motorway I will go right to the entrance and Visitor Centre of Kingbury Water Park, left at the road to the A4097 roundabout, right at the roundabout and left  on side road to Lea Marston
