Walking mainly St Cuthbert's Way we walk down to cross the river then climb from 100m to 369m to the top of Wideopen Hill with fine 360 degree views towards the Cheviots and Southern Uplands.

After decending back down I intend staying on the roads to visit Town Yetholm (which has a grocery shop) and Kirk Yetholm, my last 2 Scottish villages. The famous Border Hotel in Kirk Yetholm states 'The End of the Pennine Way', but for me it is just the beginning.
