We walk on the Union Canal towpath from Linlithgow to Greendykes Road Bridge, Broxburn. Then left down Greendykes Road to A899, then right and a left on minor road to A89, over the Union Canal, under the M8 and the railway before turning left to meet up a cycle path. We walk on the cycle route over Camp Aqueduct over the river Almond into East Calder.
