Our second day on the Great Glen Way. Today there are 2 options, a high level and a low level route. The high route gets above the treeline and offers occasional views of Loch Ness, the low level route is through lots of trees with no views. I prefer the high level path, but if the weather is pretty awful will take low level path. There is only a 1/2 mile difference in length and 10 metres difference in total ascent. The high level route is more exposed.
