We’ll walk from the main entrance to Hembury Woods down to the River Dart along the riverbank, then make our way up to the hillfort at Hembury Castle for a packed lunch, followed by a snaking trail leading back to the carpark.

All being well, we should see lots of bluebells as we explore the woods.

Note that some sections do get quite steep, so please consider hiking poles if that might be helpful.
