From Alfrick to Brockamin in very rural Worcestershire
An eight mile ramble around very rural Worcestershire. Staring at the lovely village of Alfrick, we skirt alongside Hayley Dingle, then drop down into the hamlet of Brockamin. From there we make our way to Leigh Court - in the grounds of which is the largest cruck-framed building n the UK - built for Pershore Abbey in aound about 1325 and is well worth seeing. On from there, we make our way back to Alfrick, joing up with, and crossing Leigh Brook. There are distant views of the Malverns and Suckley Hills to add to the gentle scenery. In August after this incredibly dry summer, it was very much a parched landscape. Hopefully it will have greened up by October.
