The East Kent group have joined this charity event for many years.  For those who do not know it is about 16 miles long and we stop at various churches for refreshments.  You need to register at the starting church and pay your entry fee which is a minimum of £5, this goes to local charities.  If you do want a certificate at the end of the walk to prove you did it, please ensure you register inside each church.  It is graded as moderate due to the length of the walk.  There is one or two long slopes, but if you have reasonable fitness you will be ok.  Top tip from the author, rub some vaseline etc. on to your feet before putting walking socks on to avoid potential blisters.   There is no pre-walk needed to create a route as it is way signed all the way.  If you are thinking of becoming a walk leader for the first time, this is a good one to get you started.
