  • TerrainThis is an easy five mile walk on mostly level well surfaced forestry tracks. There is a section on country lanes and towards the end there are some paths which can be muddy with tree roots.

We will walk from Fingle Bridge alongside the River Teign to Step's Bridge.

The walk is almost entirely in woodland and finishes in Dunsford Wood nature reserve. The nature reserve is famous for it's Dippers and also for it's native Daffodils which will hopefully be at their peak in late March.

We will organise some cars to be at Step's Bridge so we can drive back to Fingle Bridge where the Inn provides coffee and cakes (or beer) beside the river.

Please register for the walk or let Alan know by text so we can be sure to have enough cars in the right place!
