We return at popular request this 8 mile moderate circular walk exploring the contrasting landscape of the area around EWELME, near Wallingford, Oxon.
Once an important watercress growing village situated on one of the rare "Chalk Streams" we shall get a "steady speed" walk across the higher chalk fields before venturing along the narrow, twisting paths over interesting bridges to follow the water course back up through the village.
There will be the option for stopping at the local pub as well as the Village Store that has a cafe.
Be prepared for stinging nettles for a few of the narrow less walked sections - helpful to take walking stick. Also plenty to drink, along with our usual pack lunch.
