
East Prawle
Prawle Point is the most southerly tip of Devon. It is situated within a site of Special ScientificĀ Interest and the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Most of the land is owned by the National Trust andĀ is farmed in such a way as to increase habitats for wildflowers, insects and birds.
There is a raised wave cut platform with cliffs dating from the Pleistocene era. There is a staffed Coastguard outlook with a small exhibition. If it is quiet we may be able to enter the coastguards lookout itself.
