East Midlands The Old Nottingham Canal and countryside to the west of Nottingham.
We will leave the car park starting with a short climb over Bramcote Hill before we join the Old Nottingham Canal.
We will follow the line of the canal that was closed in the 1930's but still in water in places. Other canal features are still visible.
At Robinetts Arm we will leave the canal and walk back towards Bramcote through undulating countryside.
The walk will be on well-established paths but, in November, please be prepared for some mud.
Walking boots are essential and a walking stick is advisable.
There will be an opportunity for refreshments after the walk.
