A moderate walk taking in the high ground rising south of the Tay valley near Perth.  We will have extensive views of the Tay, the city of Perth and the highlands beyond (if the weather permits).  We return by an old railway line walking through a couple of disused railway tunnels.  About 12km (8miles) with some climbing and descending, mostly on tracks.

Bring a torch for the railway tunnels.

You will need good walking boots, waterproof trousers and jacket plus pack some warm clothes.
