Dartmouth Park and Sandwell Valley Nature Reserve

Event Details

Covid-19 - getting back outdoors

Our groups in England are now able to offer events, starting from the 18th of July, with a maximum of six participants on each event.  To take part in any of these events you must book using the ticketed booking system.  If the event you are looking at does not show ticket options it is either fully booked, or has not yet been set up to take bookings. Our Scottish and Welsh groups are still not able to run events at this time, but we hope this will change in the near future as guidance from the relevant governments is updated.

General information

This short winter walk of 7.7 miles will be on paved paths in the park and mainly on well made paths in the nature reserve which includes lakes, woodland and open pasture.   Mud must be expected and the park is home to sheep, cattle and a variety of wild birds.  Walking boots recommended.  There are no hills to climb.  The walk will include the impressive Dartmouth Park and the nature reserve, including a visit to the RSPB centre.  We will also visit the remains of Sandwell Priory/Hall.  Toilets available near the start of the walk and at the RSPB centre. Bring a packed lunch and wear suitable clothing for the weather on the day.
