Our Groups are up and running with their activities. From the 1st of May we will no longer require advanced booking for most events. Events may still require advanced booking if it is necessary to place a limit on the number of attendees based on the event's risk assessment, or other factors.
General information
Culter Fell (748m) is the highest point in South Lanarkshire and along with three neighbouring peaks - Gathersnow Hill (688m), Hillshaw Head (652m) and Hudderstone (622m) - forms an 11.5 mile horseshoe with fine views over the Coulter Reservoir.
And it's no more than an hour's drive from both Glasgow and Edinburgh!
We'll get the biggest climb of the day to the summit of Culter Fell out of the way at the start of the walk before completing the circuit along a more gently undulating mixture of grassy slopes and wind farm tracks.
A more detailed description of the route is available on the WalkHighlands website.
Terrain / Difficulty
