Creag Meagaidh Circuit
The third of three Munro walks over the weekend of 21st – 23rd February.
Monday’s walk is a mammoth day, particularly in winter and is very much dependent on favourable weather conditions. We plan to tackle the mighty Creag Meagaidh massif, taking in three Munros: Càrn Liath (1006m), Stob Poite Coire Àrdair (1054m) and Creag Meagaidh (1128m).
This walk will require a reasonable level of fitness and confidence with mountaineering in winter conditions. An ice axe and crampons may be required dependent on snow conditions. Bring spare clothes. A head torch will be necessary in case we finish the walk at dusk.
We will be following the route described on WalkHighlands.
