Clytha and Coed-y-Bwnydd, Monmouthshire
This is a lovely 7.5 mile, moderate, dog-friendly, circular walk with around a dozen stiles through an 18th century estate, taking in the River Usk and Coed-y-Bwnydd - the largest and one of the best preserved hill forts in Monmouthshire. There are beautiful views of the Sugarloaf and the wider Usk Valley, and of Clytha Castle, one of the outstanding 18th century follies of Wales.
