Circular wooded walk in the southern chilterns
This will be our first walk of 2025 and isĀ moderate circular walk starting in the hamlet of Witheridge Hill in South Oxfordshire. This walk takes us through beech woods now mainly bereft of their leaves past open pastures and general woodland. We skirt the grounds of Greys Court National Trust property and then head in a northerly direction through more woodland and rolling countryside. We finish the walk where we started in Witheridge Hill where we will lunch at the local pub the Rising Sun.
