Another historical tour of Charles Street, Cardiff, with Ian Horsburgh.  This small city centre street is full of surprises and Ian has been involved in community activities since the 1970's, initially starting several charities and the first city centre carnival, and later enjoying the gay bars, clubs and restaurants that were the centre of Cardiff's gay scene.
The tour will look at the  buildings in the street - it had three churches and a Cathedral at one time - and its history.   The tour starts at 10.45 am outside 58 Charles Street and will end in the Grassroots coffee bar (founded by Ian 50 years ago) where there will be a guided tour of the building and refreshments.
