REVISED ROUTE OMITTING RIPPON TOR. DISTANCE REDUCED TO 5 1/2 MILES. WALK ENDS AT COLD EAST CROSS WHERE A PRE-POSITIONED CAR WILL SHUTTLE MEMBERS BACK TO THE START POINT.

Classic Dartmoor 'tor-bagging' route that visits some outstanding viewpoints and the famous Ten Commandments stone. Main tors visited are Top Tor, Pil Tor and Buckland Beacon. Travelling along paths and tracks across the open moor, some undefined. Some steep and stony underfoot so sturdy boots are essential. Expect to encounter some rough terrain at times.
