This is a short very easy level 3 mile walk along the Thames footpath until its junction with the Kennet Canal. We will then walk along the canalside towards Reading and visit Reading Abbey ruins. We plan to have tea after the walk in Caversham where we can catch up. This is an ideal occasion for an amble and natter rather than a fast paced walk.
