  • TerrainGentle terrain apart from one short steep climb out of the town along a grassy path. The woodland path is uneven and sometimes muddy.

4 mile circular walk around this unspoilt little town, one of the four Stannary towns on Dartmoor that administered the tin mining industry. Attractive woodland paths beside the river Ashburn. Returning along quiet lanes. Go for lunch afterwards at Buckfastleigh railway station cafe where we will see some steam trains.
