This will be a linear walk of about five miles starting at Sand Bay heading up to Sand Point then along the Bay towards Weston Woods - taking a trail through the woods towards the town of Weston-Super-Mare - and a look around Weston including Birnbeck Pier and the Grand Pier. The return journey back to Sand Bay will be by bus from Weston Pier which runs to the car park at the start of the walk ( Bus Fare £2:50 - Bus Passes are accepted ).

There are some short stretches of lane/road walking at Sand Bay and road and pavement walking upon reaching Weston.

It is intended to do the walk and stop for a lunch or dinner together in Weston - there are plenty of places on hand there. Walkers can then decide if they want to have a further look around Weston or head back to the Car Park on the bus together.

No need for dogs to be on leads except for lane and road areas. There will be quite a few other dogs in the Sand Bay area as it is a popular dog walking area.
