This is a short five mile walk along the old 'Surrey Bank" of the Thames. (The north side was Middlesex). It begins at Battersea Power Station Underground station and will follow the River Thames through Battersea Park, via Wandsworth riverside to Putney. There we will have a social meal (not compulsory!) and drinks.

The walk will has a number of interesting features, including the power station, the Peace Pagoda in Battersea Park, and Chelsea Bridge. We will be accompanied almost the whole way by the river Thames, flowing in the opposite direction to us!
