A walk to the top of the highest of the Malvern Hills and the highest point in Worcestershire. Throughout the walk, our third to celebrate GOC's 50th, you will be treated to regular viewpoints over the surrounding countryside. On a clear day at the top of the Worcester Beacon you see over the county of Herefordshire, well into the Welsh mountains to the west, past The Wrekin and towards Cannock Chase to the north, past Bredon Hill to Edge Hill to the east and past The Cotswolds to the Bristol Channel in the south.

The walk is a generally reasonable ascent to the top. The descent is equally reasonable.
