  • TerrainThe walk is mainly along unmade surfaces some of which can be rough and stony. There is a gradual climb towards and away from Hanbury Church. Otherwise there are only gentle undulations. The going is likely to be muddy/slippery after rain. There some stiles and gates. Total ascent: about 275 ft (84 m).

Hanbury Hall is a large house, owned by the National Trust, built at the beginning of the 18th Century in a large estate, between Droitwich Spa and Redditch and south of Bromsgrove.

The circular walk will take us through the estate, across glorious Worcestershire fields and along a stretch of the Worcester and Birmingham Canal.

Entrance for non NT members to the grounds only at Hanbury Hall costs £10 and to the house and gardens, £17. There should be time to visit the house after the walk.
