This will be a very enjoyable circular 5-mile walk through the southern Chilterns and promises to be a delightful adventure! There are a couple of steep ascents. One at the start of the walk and another in mid walk. We pass through beechwoods and open fields often with far reaching views over valleys to the distant horizon. En route we pass through the hamlet of Turville with its medieval church and beautifully laid out graveyard. The church appeared in the British sitcom The Vicar of Dibley doubling as St Barnabus in the TV series. Nearing the end of the walk we pass the iconic Cobstone windmill which featured in the film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. We complete this circular walk with a meal at a local pub.
