  • TerrainNo particular difficulty, but as always at this time of year paths may be muddy and slippery. Watch your step and also beware of any barbed wire fences, damaged stiles etc.

This is an undulating circular walk from Ashurst station, a remote station in Kent which is nonetheless easily accessible from London is less than an hour. The walk passes through beautiful and varied countryside and crosses the Kent and East Sussex border twice. It takes to the hills offering panoramic views and also passes along the banks of the gentle Kent Water and the youthful Medway rivers.
