A walk of 9½ miles from King’s Cross through Bloomsbury to the City of London and then London Bridge, allowing us to see various works of public art and memorials. Styles vary from abstract to figurative, of various ages, sizes and materials: a mixed bag. There is an (accidental) medical bias. The meandering route is determined by the locations of the objects and takes in a number of perhaps less well-known squares and streets, as well as some iconic buildings. There are several ‘talking statues’ (QR code reader needed).
