Leaving the attractive village of Beaulieu, we walk along well maintained paths and tracks in parallel and alongside the Beaulieu River to reach the historically famous shipbuilding centre of Bucklers Hard. Here we can admire the attractive riverside houses plus museum and fine views over the River to Exbury Gardens. After our picnic/pub stop we then undertake an additional short Woodlands walk around Bucklers Hard before taking the return walk to Beaulieu.
