GOC Happy Valley Pride – Up the Buttress walk
Join friends from Pride on this 5 mile walk up ‘The Buttress’, an old packhorse road from Hebden Bridge to Heptonstall. Enjoy this Pennine village and learn about some of the juicer bits of its history before descending through Hardcastle Crags woods to ‘The Blue Pig’. The return to Hebden is along pretty river paths. As in previous years Peter Tatchell intends to be on the walk.
We will be back in Hebden in time to join in the Pink Picnic, if that is your thing, or just for a coffee or pint at a local pub or café.
