
South London Botanical Institute
Visit to the South London Botanical Institute, c.10 minutes walk from Tulse Hill station. Founded in 1910 by Allan Octavian Hume (who was also a founder and first secretary of the Indian National Congress), the SLBI has used its garden, library and herbarium to stimulate interest in plants for well over 100 years.
