Reading Pride: Saturday 30 August 2025

Event Details

This will be the third successive year that the Berkshire and Mid Thames and Oxford groups have jointly taken part in Reading's annual Pride Festival. Each year it grows larger and provides a good  opportunity to promote our organisation. For comprehensive details about this year's Pride please click here.

As in previous years we will have a stand in the Sports area. Click here for details.

There will be a Parade through the town which will bring the spirit of Pride to the centre of Reading and provide an opportunity for groups, organisations and individuals to show their support for both Pride and the ongoing campaign for equality.  I have asked for 10 places for those who want to walk on the March which will start from in front of the main entrance to Reading Station at 11am and finish at Kings Meadow at noon for the opening of the Festival.

After the Festival is over there will be an opportunity to take refreshments with other participants and members of GOC who take part in the event to meet and socialise at the Blagrave Arms in Blagrave Street Reading. The Festival generally ends between 5.30 and 6pm.
