PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A THURSDAY EVENT

Visit this beautiful walled garden (admission charge £6) on the southern flank of Wenlock Edge in Shropshire. It has been created out of the walled garden of Millichope Park, which had been abandoned in the 1960s. Originally specialising in Violas, a wide range of herbacious plans and shrubs are now featured and there is a small sales area where plants can be bought. Of particular interest is the recently-restored Georgian glasshouse which boasts a curvilinear roof!

There is an excellent tea-room where we will end this free-to-roam visit.  They also serve light lunches (see below).
