  • TerrainA mix of canal towpath, field paths and tracks. Some of the paths can be very muddy.

It'll be a moderate circular walk of 8 miles taking in a section of the Macclesfield Canal followed by a fairly steep ascent onto the Moor in Lyme Park. From here we should have fine views as far as Manchester and beyond, depending on the weather.
