78 Derngate
78 derngate was redesigned by Charles Rennie Mackintosh for the Bassett-Loake family. Its the only property in England that was designed by Rennie Mackintosh.
Also on display are model engines made by Bassett-Loake.
78 derngate is quite small so only small groups can tour the building. The visitors centre is next door and has cafe facilities.
Its advisable to book so we have made 2 bookings Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon after town walk. Its not open Monday
Admission is £10 payable on the day. £9 if the group is 15 or more. Over 12 will be 2 groups.
