Another route march Seven Sisters roundtrip
In line with two other "route marches" this will be walking from Seaford to Beachy Head then returning to Seaford. The pace will be fast looking to do 4mph most of the time so averaging above 3mph. Note the usual GOC walk manages about 2mph.
As it is nearly impossible to get lost on this walk there will not be a traditional back marker as we hope the group will stay close together at pace.
Lunch will be at Beachy Head after 3 hours or so. There are no plans to stop at the normal Birling Gap tea stop as it will be rammed on a bank holiday and take took long. Toilet stop is fine of course.
At either location in either direction you can leave the walk and get the bus going west back to Seaford and Brighton or east to Eastbourne.
I hope to hit low tide on the return west bound walk so we can walk across the Cuckmere River and not use the road bridge as we will have to going east.
