Following my November 2023 walk in the Wincle area, this is a walk in the opposite direction but starting from the same place namely the Ship Inn, Wincle.  It is a moderately hilly walk but as at the end of April very muddy and wet underfoot although having said that a substantial amount of the walk is on firm farm tracks but the rest is through fields.  There could be quite a few cattle and sheep in the fields so it is essential that dogs are on a lead for much of the walk.  The views are lovely and varied with Shutlingsloe and Wildboarclough Valley in the distance. It will be between 5 and 6 miles.
