JOGLE Day 46 Horton in Ribblesdale to Malham
Leaving Horton in Ribblesdale we climb from 242m to 694m shapely peak Pen y Ghent, usually the 1st peak climbed by Yorkshire 3 Peakers, with fine views.
We descend off the very front of Pen y Ghent down to open moorland eventually to the side Malham Tarn.
Then on to sharp edge of Malham Cove, with an expanse of limestone bedding before the cliff face drop to the valley. It was star of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1.
The Pennine Way descends to the right of it and when you get to bottom of it, you realise the vastness of it. In awe we walk on to Malham
