Hebden Bridge Circular 7 miles - (2024 Event Planning Meeting will be held after this walk)
10:30am start time.
Hebden Bridge, known by some as the gay centre of the North of England, was originally a crossing point for various packhorse trails that converged at the bridge over 'Hebden Water'. In the industrial revolution with the coming of the canal and railway the town flourished as a textile center.
The walk comprises a picturesque canal towpath, Jumble Hole Clough ( a steep wood-sided valley), an upland pasture (with good views over the area) and a return via the escarpment edge of Colden Water. Here is a link to the route: Hebden Bridge Circular
After this walk our Transpennine Event Planning Meeting will take place to discuss and plan our 2024 events calendar.
If you're interested in being involved contact me so you can be included and added to the group discussions.
