  • TerrainMost of the walk is on flat terrain following footpaths and canal towpath. There are some short slightly uphill sections.

We will start at Shenton Train station and follow part of the Bosworth Battlefield trail. The walk is about 12 km (approximately 3 hours at a leisurely pace) and it follows the battlefield trail and part of the Ashby-de-la-Zouch canal. There is a nice little cafe and antique shop towards the end of the walk if we want to stop before our way back to our cars.

The walk starts at 11:30.
