Fly the flag for our community for Pride Month - wear something 'fabulous!'
This walk is in collaboration with Ask for Clive campaign. Pub at end of walk is LGBTQI+, supporter of Ask for Clive.
This is a 12.9 circular walk from Romelands which is adacent to the majestic St Albans Abbey. We will walk through the Cathedral grounds to pick up the Ver Valley footpath including a short walk on the Alban Way before transiting along the Ver Valley restoration at Sopwell. This area may be boggy in places. We will depart this area and walk through Park Street before re-joining the Ver Valley into Frogmore. We will have lunch here on the lakes embarkment with friendly Canadian Geese and Ducks. We will then transit through How Wood. An opportunity for drop out at train station (Watford Junction to St Albans Abbey line). The walk will continue into St Stephen parish an a private airfield and country lanes before entering the Gorhambury Estate on our return to St Albans.
