The starting point is Broken Scar picnic area on the West side of Darlington. There will be a short road walk about 5 min to begin with. Followed by a wooded track for about 1 mile, then over some field paths and farm tracks to reach High Coniscliffe, where we will stop for a lunch break.  We will then follow a river and wooded pathway along the Tees back to Low Coniscliffe and then Broken Scar car park.
