This is a moderate walk of 7 miles with 1063feet of ascent. The terrain consists of ex-railway line trail, paths across fields, some quiet road walking, a rocky path up to The Cloud with good views across the Cheshire plain, tracks through woods and the flood plain of the river Dane. We also visit the Bridestones, a Neolithic chambered cairn.
