Sandiway woods and lakes
Hidden away to the south of the A556 in Sandiway are a series of paths through beautiful woods and alongside a number of lakes formed by quarrying of sand in the past. This largely flat, seven mile walk will take place in this area including parts of Pettypool woods, Newchurch Common, the Whitegate Way and Abbots Moss. Most of the walk is away from roads and farm animals so is ok for dogs. Any dogs must be kept under control and are the sole responsibility of the owners. There is one short section by the A556 but there is a pavement along that part.
