Sunny Southwest Coast

After many days of rain we were lucky to have a sunny day for fifteen walkers to set out from the harbourside in Brixham to walk the SW Coastal path as far as Sharkham Point.

As we were leaving Brixham we came across a quayside service being held to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the RNLI. Five magnificent lifeboats were moored nearby.

Leaving Brixham we walked up to Berry Head enjoying some magnificent coastal scenery as we went. Our lunch stop location at Sharkham point also had  wonderful views.

After lunch we returned eastward and back into Brixham where we celebrated completing the 7 mile walk with coffee and cake on the harbourside close to the replica of the Golden Hind.
