Sunny September Sussex Woolbeding Walk

In early September we were lucky enough to have a beautiful sunny day for a walk from Woolbeding in the very north-west corner of West Sussex. The walk leader Justin Jones had devised a route with a wide range of terrain and scenery around the valley of the River Rother just before it merges with the River Arun. It took in a variety of countryside and some spectacular views plus a stunning hammer pond and an unexpected Buddhist monastery. Twelve intrepid members came along for a very enjoyable day, completed with hot teas & coffees and some delicious home made cakes at the end. Many thanks to Justin for leading us and to everyone who came along.
