S. Mids – A Guided Tour of Leamington’s Highlights, Take Two

After a week of gorgeous weather, our April event was a little on the cool side, but that didn’t stop 19 members from having a wander around Royal Leamington Spa.

We started at the Royal Pump Rooms and had a little bit of Leam’s history before a quick coffee break in Jephson Gardens then it was a stroll around Newbold Comyn Country Park. Back to Leamington for lunch and we reconvened at the Pump Rooms for the afternoon.

We then sauntered through Victoria Park and along the Rivers Leam and Avon to St. Nicholas’s Park in Warwick taking the towpath of the Grand Union Canal back to Royal Leamington Spa.

A few (well quite a few) of us ended in The Terrace bar by the River Leam for a few libations and a natter.
