North Downs in the spring flowers

Today we managed to get a good day weather wise for our walk in the North Downs of East Kent.  It was a wonderful route with a lot of natural landscape, wild flowers and fields of sheep and quite a few horses.  We also visited St Bartholomews church in the village of Waltham and St Mary the Virgin's church in Hastingleigh.

This route will be walked once again on the Saturday of the AOG 2023 and is called 'Beautiful North Downs AONB' on the website.  There were 11 of us in total today so thank you all for coming along.  Towards the end of the walk we stopped for a drink at The Timber Batts alehouse in the hamlet of Bodsham.
